In Jaintapur, the miscreants threw the wife and daughter out of the house in the absence of the husband

In Sylhet’s Jaintapur, in the absence of the husband, the terrorists-miscreants threw the wife and daughter out of the house in single clothes. The incident took place on October 21, 2022 at Jaintapur Upazila No. 5- Fatehpur Union Haripur No. 7- Gaskup village. At present, the victim family is living an inhumane life in the state of homelessness.

It is learned that the victim housewife Suhada Begum Ruji (23) of the same village lodged a written complaint at Jaintapur Model Police Station demanding redressal. But as the police delayed taking the case, a CR case was filed in Judicial Magistrate 5th Court and Amli Court No-6, Sylhet. Jaintapur CR case no-230/2022. The court took cognizance of the case and directed the officer-in-charge of Jaintapur Model Police Station to submit a report after investigation. But for mysterious reasons, the police are still playing the role of spectators.

The accused in the case are Azizur Rahman Aziz (40) and his wife Rabia Begum (35) of deceased Israk Ali’s son of No. 5-Fatehpur Union, Haripur No. 7- Gascup village.

It is known that her husband Amir Uddin was having a dispute with the people of the opposite party over the place of the house he lived in for a long time. At one point, Amir Uddin, the housewife’s husband, went to jail in a check disinheritance case. On the day and date of the incident, the influential defendants assaulted the housewife by threatening to kill her, vandalized the furniture in the house and looted the check book and gold ornaments. In addition, more important documents including land documents kept in the cupboard in the house were seized. It caused a loss of about 6.5 lakh rupees. Later, hoping to get justice, the victim housewife appeared at Jaintapur Model Police Station and filed a written complaint seeking redressal. The plaintiff and his family are currently residing in Pitralaya.

Meanwhile, after the filing of the case, the accused became more angry and threatened to kill themselves to withdraw the case through various means. This helpless woman is in extreme trouble. He will get back his homestead if police support his complaint.

In this regard, Jaintapur Model Police Station’s Investigating Officer, Abdur Rob, was contacted over the phone. Otherwise legal action will be taken as per investigation.
