Bangabandhu gifted a secular, non-communal Bangladesh: Minister of State for Religion

In Moulvibazar, State Minister for Religion Faridul Haque Khan spoke as the chief guest at the religious harmony and awareness interfaith dialogue in collaboration with the district administration and Islamic Foundation. He said that Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman worked for the development of Bangladesh as a non-communal country and one of the four principles was secularism. He formed the Islamic Foundation. He has gifted us a secular, non-communal Bangladesh. Bangladesh madrasa board. His daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is also working towards that goal. And that is why people of all communities are living together in Bangladesh regardless of caste, religion, caste.
Besides, he also presented the statistics of various projects implemented under the Ministry of Religion. In the religious harmony and awareness interfaith dialogue program organized by the religious harmony and awareness raising project of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, this dialogue was held at Moulvibazar Circuit House conference room on Tuesday (December 27) in cooperation with the district administration and Moulvibazar Islamic Foundation.

Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan presided over the dialogue program as the guest speaker of Member of Parliament of Moulvibazar-3 Constituency Neshar Ahmad and Member of Parliament of Habiganj-Moulvibazar Reserved Female Constituency Syeda Jahura Alauddin. Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria spoke as a special guest.
Moulvibazar District Hindu Buddhist Christian Parishad General Secretary Nakul Chandra Saha, Kulaura Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdus Salek and Press Club Secretary Panna Dutta also spoke. Public representatives, journalists, religious leaders of all religions, police and administration officials and representatives of civil society participated in the interfaith dialogue for religious harmony and awareness.
