A motorcycle rider died on the spot after being hit by a truck in Sylhet’s Golapganj.

The accident took place at Hilalpur Namaksthan on the Sylhet-Jakiganj road in Fulbari Union of the upazila on Monday around noon. He is said to be a resident of Kuchai area named Jabdul.

It is known that a speeding truck going from Sylhet to Golapganj hit the Sylhet-bound motorcycle (Sylhet-H-11-9862). The motorcycle rider Jabdul was killed on the spot.

Rafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Golapganj Model Police Station confirmed the truth of this matter.
