The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is on high alert in helicopters to strengthen security in the airspace of BNP’s gathering ground at Golap Bagh ground in the capital.

RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Commander Khandaker Al Moin gave the information on Saturday (December 10).

He said that the intelligence surveillance of the RAB force has also been increased to prevent any kind of chaos, sabotage and keep the law and order situation normal. For this reason, bomb disposal unit and RAB helicopter are monitoring the field.

He also said that RAB’s regular patrolling activities have been strengthened to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property. Apart from this, to prevent any kind of attacks and vandalism, RAB checkposts are being regularly searched in various places of the country, including important facilities, places and entrances of the capital.

On Saturday (December 10) the mass started before 11 am. The leaders and activists of the party started gathering at the rally place from Friday afternoon.
