The court denied bail to the arrested general secretary of BNP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Mirza Abbas and sent them to jail. Tomorrow they are kept in the ward with the general inmates. Afroza Abbas, president of Mahila Dal and wife of Mirza Abbas, alleged that the prison authorities had done flooring to them.

He made this complaint at the BNP’s Dhaka division mass meeting at the capital’s Golapbagh ground on Saturday.

Afroza Abbas said, we cannot hold a rally in front of the party office in Nayapaltan. But the Awami League closed the important roads of Dhaka and held a rally. Gathers on working days. Garment factories shut down and held rallies, schools and colleges shut down and held rallies.

He said, Awami League forcibly brought men and women to the rally to show more people. But when our brothers and sisters spontaneously wanted to join the gathering, they stopped them. They wanted BNP not to hold rally in Dhaka. But they did not succeed. BNP is never defeated.
