BNP got permission to hold a rally at Golapbagh ground

The police allowed the BNP to hold a rally at Golapbagh ground in the capital. On Friday (December 9), the Vice Chairman of BNP met with the head of intelligence department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police and informed the matter in front of the DB office. A Z M Zahid Hossain.
Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said that following the party’s request from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, permission has been granted to hold a rally at the Golapbagh ground.
On the other hand, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Khandaker Golam Farooq said that BNP wanted Kamlapur or Mirpur Bangla College ground to hold its rally in Dhaka. Later, Golapbag asked for field again at night. In view of this, they have been allowed to gather in the Golapbagh field.
Earlier, BNP wanted to hold a rally at the party office in Nayapaltan, but the police allowed the rally at Suhrawardy Udyan. However, after many dramas, the much-discussed mass meeting is scheduled to be held tomorrow, Saturday (December 10).
