Russia will never launch nuclear attack first: Putin
Online Desk/
Assuring that Russia will never launch a nuclear attack in the first place, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the threat of a nuclear attack is increasing.
The Russian president made such comments at the meeting of the annual human rights council of Russia on Wednesday (November 7). However, Putin compared himself with this ruler of the 17th-18th century.
Commenting that Russia will fight in Ukraine for a long time, Putin said, “Such a threat is increasing.” It would be wrong to hide it. We will not threaten anyone with nuclear weapons. Russia has not gone mad. We know what nuclear weapons are.
Not claiming that Russia’s nuclear policy is the same as that of the United States, Putin said that the Americans have stockpiled their nuclear weapons in Turkey and other European countries. Which Russia did not. But Russia has the world’s most advanced nuclear weapons.
Putin claims to have annexed four Ukrainian regions, occupied Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Luhansk, which are well on their way. Peter the Great also wanted the territories along the Azov Sea to be part of Russia.
