Foreign Minister commented that some media are forcing foreign diplomats to comment on Bangladesh. AK Abdul Momen said, it is shameful to talk about one’s house to others.
He said some ambassadors do not want to comment about Bangladesh. But they were forced to comment because of journalists. He urged journalists to be more careful in this regard.
He made this comment in response to questions from journalists at the opening ceremony of the two-day district literature fair-2022 in Sylhet on Tuesday (November 22) at 9:30 am.
He also said that some ambassadors told him that they do not know anything about these matters. Some reporters forced them to answer questions.
At that time, the foreign minister said that the people of other countries do not want to know about their internal affairs from foreign diplomats. But now we are not a colonial country, we are not a colony. So they have to remember that. They will follow the rules established according to their custom.
