10 people, including 1 Bangladeshi, died in a terrible fire in an area of Male, the capital of Maldives. The fire broke out at midnight on Wednesday (November 9) local time. A residential fire broke out in a densely populated area of Male, the capital of the Maldives, according to the fire service. The residence has a garage on the ground floor.
The fire spread from there. The flames gradually engulfed the upper floor. At least 10 bodies were recovered from the upper floor.
The official said that the bodies of 10 people were recovered in about four hours to extinguish the fire in that residence. Among them one Bangladeshi and nine Indian nationals. Nothing is known about their identity.
