At least 44 warplanes, four warships and two drones conducted exercises around Taiwan, Taiwan’s defense ministry said.

This information is known from a report of Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency on Sunday.

The report also said that 15 warplanes and two drones crossed the Line of Control between the two countries and entered Taiwan’s airspace.

In the statement, Taipei also said four Chinese warplanes flew over Taiwan’s eastern air defense demarcation zone.

Earlier, Taiwan’s Defense Minister Chu Kuo-cheng said that Taiwan is fully prepared to defend its territory against China’s attack. He made this comment in response to Chinese President Xi Jinping’s warning that China would not withdraw from the use of force on the Taiwan issue.

Chu Kuo-cheng said Taiwan’s military will be fully prepared to repel any Chinese attack as Beijing has announced. Whether they move time forward or backward we are always ready.
