Rob Malley, the US special envoy to Iran, said on Monday that if the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran is not renewed, the US is on the table to take military action to stop its nuclear activities. Al Arabiya news.

Special Envoy Rob Malley said, as the president has said, if all else fails, as a last resort, the president will put the military very clearly on the table, to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

But Rob Malley reminded the Biden administration of prioritizing diplomacy to achieve success in this regard. Moreover, he spoke in favor of the fact that the Biden administration is indirectly involved in continued negotiations with Iran.

“We do not regret what we have done and are still doing to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon,” he said.

He also said, again, diplomacy is preferred if it works through pressure, particularly through sanctions, but if diplomacy fails, all options will be on the table.
