This time the government has retired two additional DIGs

After three superintendents of police, the government has sent two additional DIGs on compulsory retirement. Officials sent on compulsory retirement are – Additional DIG of Tourist Police. Mahbub Hakim and Additional DIG of CID. Alamgir Alam

This information is known from a separate notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday (October 31).

According to the notification, two officers of BCS (Police) cadre have been retired from government service in public interest as per the provisions of Section 45 of the Employment Act, 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018).

Both of them are 12th batch officers of BCS police cadre.

Earlier, on October 18, the government sent three Superintendents of Police on compulsory retirement. They are CID Police Superintendent Mirza Abdullah Baki, Police Headquarters Police Superintendent Delwar Hossain Mia and Md. Shahidullah Chowdhury. Earlier on October 16, Information Secretary Maqbul Hossain was retired from compulsory government service.
