After serving the sentence in India, 8 people returned home through Sheola land port

Eight Bangladeshi nationals returned home on Saturday (October 30) afternoon through Sheola customs land port of Biyanibazar in Sylhet district after a long stay in various fishermen there due to illegal entry into India. Among them there are 3 youths from Baralekha.

These Bangladeshi nationals were handed over to Sheola Immigration Police and BGB by the Border Wing of BSF and Assam Police.

Those who returned to Bangladesh after serving their sentence in India are – Mahir Uddin of Kumarshail village of Baralekha upazila, Atabur Rahman of Shatghari village of Boberthol, Lal Mia alias Lalon Mia of Gajbhag village, Mohammad Abdul Matin of Biyanibazar, Mohammad Lal Mia of Rajbari, Farid Alam Akash of Cox’s Bazar, Rahim Mia Ferdous and Faima Begum.

Sheola Sthalbandar Immigration Police Checkpost SI Maudud Ahmad Rumi said that after completing all the necessary activities including immigration, those returning to the country after serving their sentence in India were handed over to the Biyanibazar police station. They have been handed over to the relatives who are waiting for the police.
