India’s new High Commissioner Prannoy presented his identity card to the President

President Md. Prannoy Verma, the new Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka presented the identity card to Abdul Hamid.
The new High Commissioner of India handed over the credentials to the President at Banga Bhavan on Thursday. This information has been informed in a press release sent from the Indian Embassy in Dhaka.
According to the press release, during the meeting with the President of Bangladesh after presenting the identity card, High Commissioner Verma highlighted the importance of India’s relationship with Bangladesh and extended warm congratulations to the President on behalf of the Government and people of India.
The High Commissioner said that his endeavors will be to further expand and strengthen the existing close and friendly relations between India and Bangladesh. He looks forward to working closely with the Government of Bangladesh to realize the full potential of India-Bangladesh relations.
The President congratulated the High Commissioner on assuming his new duties. He expressed hope that the ongoing strong development in bilateral cooperation between India and Bangladesh in various fields will be strengthened in the future.
After presenting the credentials, High Commissioner Verma visited the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 32 Dhanmondi, Dhaka to pay his respects to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
