Daily Times of Bangladesh to relaunch print edition Monday
The Daily Times of Bangladesh is set to relaunch its print edition on Monday, reaffirming its commitment to independent and objective journalism.
The English-language broadsheet returns with a refreshed look, featuring a new logo and the tagline “Window to the World.” The newspaper aims to deliver comprehensive coverage of both national and international affairs, with a focus on credible, balanced reporting.
In a bold move, the newspaper has declared its editorial independence, ensuring news content is determined solely by its editorial team, free from political, commercial, or ownership influence.
This marks a departure from traditional media practices in Bangladesh, Daily Times of Bangladesh said in a press release on Sunday.
“This editorial independence is integral to our mission,” said editorial board member M Abul Kalam Azad. “In the current pre-election climate, media faces censorship, intimidation, and external pressures. We are committed to reporting with integrity and objectivity, guided solely by journalistic principles.”
The Daily Times of Bangladesh will cover a wide range of topics, including politics, business, healthcare, crime, technology, and culture.
The newspaper will be available in both print and digital formats, including an easily accessible e-paper, ensuring readers stay connected to the news at all times.
The Daily Times of Bangladesh aims to become a trusted source of information, blending hard news with lifestyle segments.
