Neither BNP nor anyone has the power to bring down the A-League government: Hanif
Online Reporter/
Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said that BNP leaders are dreaming of December 10. There is no such thing as December 10. Awami League is not a grassroots organization. Not some sloppy water that will wobble and fall when pushed.
Awami League is a party created by the father of the nation. The roots of Awami League of 73 years are deep in the soil of Bengal. Neither BNP nor anyone has the power to bring down the Awami League government in Bangladesh. Stop these threats of government collapse.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the triennial conference of Paltan Police Station and 13th Ward Awami League under Dhaka Metropolitan South in Nayapaltan (Jamatkhana) on Saturday afternoon.
Hanif said, BNP is agitating to get power. But they do not have the talent and skills to manage the country. If you can carry out the political program democratically, there is no obstacle from our side. Law and order forces will strictly suppress the development of the country through terrorism, violence and sabotage in the name of the movement. There will be no need to confront Awami League leaders and activists.
Stating that the next National Assembly elections will be under the current government in the light of the constitution, he said that the caretaker government has no chance. If you have any suggestions from within the constitution to make elections more acceptable, you can give them. Government and Election Commission must consider.
Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League President Abu Ahmed Mannafi inaugurated the conference. Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Tapas, Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golap, Deputy Publicity Editor Aminul Islam Amin.
Under the chairmanship of Paltan Thana Awami League President Enamul Haque Abul and moderated by General Secretary Mosta Zaman Popi, Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League General Secretary Humayun Kabir, Vice President Abdus Chattar Masud, Mesbah Uddin Ratan, Joint General Secretary Kazi Morshed Kamal, Organizing Secretary Golam Ashraf also gave a speech.
