Gaibandha Representative/

Hundreds of leaders and activists of Jatiya Party and BNP have been accused in the case filed by Awami League regarding the vandalism of election offices of Awami League in Saghata and Phulchari upazilas around the by-election of Gaibandha 5 constituencies on Wednesday, October 12. In that case, all the accused were released on bail yesterday (October 13) by the learned court of Gaibandha. After getting bail, Jatiyapati and BNP leaders and workers said that they have been harassed by filing false and purposeful cases against us.

On bail, the leaders said that the lungi-wearing people of Saghata Phulchhari upazila know and understand everything. Awami League filed a false case against us on the day before the election so that we could not go to the polling station on the day of the election, thinking that the Jatiya Pati electoral field would be good. After that, the police and ruling party leaders went door to door and harassed them to leave the area on the polling day. The leaders also said that the people are with the national carpet in the future and will be inshallah. You can’t steal people’s minds by attacking cases. If the polls are fair in the coming days too, the plow marker will win the election by getting a large number of votes
In this incident, the presiding officer Majedul Islam filed a case against Sujan Mia in Saghata police station, making several allegations including unauthorized entry into the center and casting fake votes.
