The 14th death anniversary of language soldier, eminent politician, tea labor leader, Comrade Mofiz Ali is observed. Bangladesh Trade Union Association Moulvibazar District Committee organized a discussion meeting at 10:30 am on Monday (October 10) after laying wreaths at the grave of the late Dhupatilastha.

At 10:30 in the morning, the leaders recited the oath after placing flowers at Mofiz Ali’s tomb. Later, at the local ground under the chairmanship of Nurul Mohaimin, president of Trade Union Sangh Moulvibazar district committee and general secretary Rajat Biswas, the chief guest was Kavi Shahid Sagnik, president of National Democratic Front Moulvibazar district branch.

The discussion was attended by Amlesh Sharma, General Secretary of Dhruvatara Sangsik Sangsad Moulvibazar District Committee, Ramzan Ali Patu, Joint Secretary of Trade Union Sangh Sylhet District Committee, Shaheen Mia, District Secretary of Hotel Workers Union, Sohel Mia, President of Rickshaw Workers Union, Anuj Rezaul Karim of Mofiz Ali, Tea Workers. Leaders Sitaram Bean, Samuel Begman, Shahjahan Mia etc.
