Students and Public will take to streets again if necessary warns Sarjis Alam
Sarjis Alam general secretary of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, has provided financial assistance to the families of 105 people in Chittagong who were killed in the student movement and mass uprising.
This assistance was provided at a program at the Primary Teachers Training Institute auditorium in the city on Saturday (December 7).
Sarjis Alam met the families of those killed in the movement at the program. Each family was given financial assistance of Tk 5 lakh.
At that time, Sarjis Alam said that Sheikh Hasina and her cronies want to return in a new form. Various conspirators are conspiring.
He also warned that students and the public will take to the streets again if necessary to resist them.
Describing the atrocities in the July movement, Sarjis said that those who are still defending this movement are the pests left behind by Sheikh Hasina.
Which she has nurtured for so many years. If these insects grow wings, they will attack the martyrs’ families 5 years from now. Therefore, we must be aware that the murderers do not get any chance to be rehabilitated. We are ready to risk our lives again if necessary.
He said, before August 5, we were ready to give our lives in unity, we are still ready to give our lives to ensure justice for those murderers and against all forms of rehabilitation. No matter how much we console, provide financial assistance, the lack of a child, the lack of a spouse, the lack of a brother – we will never be able to fill it.
Sarjis Alam said, in this new Bangladesh, some police members are working for a group again wearing that uniform. Please take off that uniform and leave. We have learned to give our lives, there will be no place for brokers and flatterers in this country. Cases are still being traded against the martyred brothers. We do not want to see this.
