In the last 24 hours across the country, 14 people have died due to dengue. With this, the number of dengue deaths this year has reached 671. On the other hand, 2 thousand 115 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital in 24 hours.

It is said that 833 residents of Dhaka and 1 thousand 282 people from outside Dhaka out of 2 thousand 115 people admitted to hospital due to dengue infection from Tuesday morning to Wednesday at the same time. On the other hand, among the 14 people who died in the last 24 hours, 10 are residents of Dhaka and 4 are outside Dhaka.

From January 1 to September 6 this year, 1 lakh 38 thousand 22 people were infected with dengue. Among them, 63 thousand 273 people are residents of Dhaka. And 74 thousand 749 people outside Dhaka.

Bangladesh has never seen so many deaths before the monsoon season. In January this year, 6 people died due to dengue. Two died in February. In March there were no deaths due to dengue, but two deaths each occurred in April and May. Dengue took a terrible shape in June. 34 people died due to dengue. 204 people lost their lives due to dengue in July. 113 people died of dengue on the 10th day of August.
