Bangladesh Supreme Court High Court Division Justice A.S.M. Abdul Mobin said, the tradition of Sylhet bar is very rich. The learned members of the Sylhet District Bar Association have signed many talents in the courts of Bangladesh. Lawyers will play an important role in making this profession more prosperous in the future.

On Sunday (July 23) in the afternoon of the Sylhet District Lawyers Association, the president of the association Mr. Hall No. 2. Under the chairmanship of Ashok Purkayastha Advocate and Joint Secretary-1 Mohammad Salman Uddin Advocate and Joint Secretary-2 Mohammad Saifur Rahman Advocate, learned senior members of the Bar Association Debtosh Chowdhury Advocate, Dhrub Jyoti Shyam Advocate, Md. Nurul Haque Advocate, Arun Bhushan Das Advocate, Nuruddin Ahmad Advocate and Md. He said the above words while delivering the speech as the chief guest at the Golden Jubilee celebrations organized on the occasion of 50 years in the legal profession of Mr. Mukhlishur Rahman Advocate.

Addressing the six lawyers who received the reception, he also said, Devtosh Chowdhury Advocate, Shri Dhruv Jyoti Shyam Advocate, Md. Nurul Haque Advocate, Arun Bhushan Das Advocate, Nuruddin Ahmad Advocate and Md. Mukhlishur Rahman Advocates don’t look like they have already completed 50 years in the legal profession. I wonder how the six of them spent 50 years in the legal profession. These six eminent lawyers who have been felicitated will be role models among young and old lawyers.

Raj Uddin Advocate, former President of Sylhet District Lawyers Association Abdul Khaliq Advocate, Mr. Pankaj Kumar Roy Advocate, Former President Mr. Dewan Golam Rabbani Chowdhury Advocate, Former President Mr. Emad Ulla Shahidul Islam Advocate, Former President Mr. A.K.M. Shamiul Alam Advocate. Sylhet District Bar Association General Secretary Golam Yah-Ya Chowdhury (Suhel) Advocate read the tribute to the guests.

At the beginning of the program, Mufti Maulana, the senior member of the lawyers’ association and chief election commissioner of the association, recited from the Holy Quran.
