Awami League’s upcoming twelfth election manifesto ‘Smart Bangladesh’ has announced a 21-point election manifesto titled ‘Amr Sylhet’ to fulfill the dream of Green-Clean-Smart Sylhet.

Among them, he promised green, clean and environment-friendly Sylhet, elimination of waterlogging and flood control, waste management, planned urbanization, awareness to deal with disasters, women-friendly Sylhet, establishment of parks, gardens and playgrounds, Sylhet of youth, Sylhet of technology. the

He highlighted these twenty one points in a press conference at Hotel Nirvana Inn in Mirza Jangal area of the city on Saturday (June 17).

Central Awami League presidium member Syeda Zebunnesha Haque, organizing secretary Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, executive member Azizus Samad Don and other activists were present.

If elected, he said that he would like to create a green, clean and environment-friendly Sylhet besides working to eliminate waterlogging and flood control in the city.

He also said, “I want to develop Sylhet in such a way that there will be no waterlogging, no garbage, where there will be clean water. Surma river will be dug. Tourism and expatriate-friendly Sylhet will be a terror-free, robbery-free, safe city, he said. He said, “I have come to symbolize your trust.”
