“The country is progressing on the path of development because the trend of democracy continues”
Dhaka/
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, I am hopeful today that no one can drag Bangladesh back. Can’t be taken back to the dark ages. This country is progressing on the path of development because the trend of democracy continues.
He said these things while inaugurating the program of distribution of stipend and tuition fee to poor and meritorious students from secondary to graduation (pass) and equivalent level at Shapla Hall of the Prime Minister’s office on Sunday (June 11) morning.
He said, during the elections in 2008, it was announced to build digital Bangladesh, then after coming to power, initiatives were taken. But today we succeeded in doing that; Today’s Bangladesh is Digital Bangladesh. Because if we can’t keep up with modern technology, then how can we keep up.
The Prime Minister also said that it has become easier to deal with the corona epidemic because we have made Digital Bangladesh today. Even when all the schools and colleges are closed, education programs are continued online on the principle of ‘Amar Ghar Amar School’ amid the global pandemic Corona. Today, our children have got the opportunity to develop their talents. The innovative power in them is being revealed. I am filled with the speech they gave today.
Criticizing the BNP regime, the Awami League president said that during the BNP there was a session jam in the campus, the clanging of weapons. Students could not sleep without hearing the sound of bombs. After Awami League came to power, there is no such situation in education.
