On the instructions of BNP Acting Chairman Janneta Tarique Rahman, a prayer and iftar mahfil was held in Sreepur, Gazipur to distribute clothes among the poor, helpless and distressed people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and to pray for the recovery of national leader Begum Khaleda Zia. On Friday afternoon, clothes were distributed among 1,000 helpless and distressed people at the Molla Bari Jame Mosque ground, organized by Sreepur Municipality BNP Vice President Afaz Uddin Molla, on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Under the chairmanship of Afaz Uddin Mollah, Vice-President of Sreepur Municipality BNP, Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam Bachchu, Joint Secretary of BNP Central Committee and Senior Joint Convener of Gazipur District BNP, delivered the speech as the chief guest. The main speaker was Pirzada S.M. Ruhul Amin, the founding president of Sreepur Upazila BNP. Present at the event were former vice-president of Gazipur District BNP Humayun Kabir Sarkar, general secretary of municipal BNP Billal Hossain Bepari, vice-presidents of municipal BNP Saiful Haque Molla, Billal Hossain, Abul Hossain Prodhan, organizing secretary of upazila BNP Moslem Uddin Mridha, former organizing secretary of upazila BNP Azad Mondal, organizing secretary of Sreepur municipal BNP Khokon Prodhan, Former joint organizing secretary of Sreepur municipal BNP Sharif Ahmed Siddiqui, former president of Sreepur Upazila Jubo Dal Safayet Hossain Akanda, youth affairs secretary of municipal BNP Shamsuddin Sarkar, BNP leader Tofazzal Hossain, and leaders of Sreepur upazila, municipal BNP units and affiliated organizations.
