Journalist Parveen Khatun has become the country’s youngest MP candidate in Pabna 1 (Santhia-Bera) constituency in the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections. She is the nominated candidate of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD).
She is a journalist by profession and has done Masters in Journalism from Rajshahi University. She is studying Masters in Social Science Department at Rajshahi Government College.
Currently she has worked as Pabna District Correspondent in The Daily Sun, The Morning Glory and Daily Nowroz.
She said about this, Journalism is a challenging and adventurous profession. As a person of this profession, I have become a candidate of my own free will. No matter how many votes the voters give me, I will consider it my victory.
Abu Hasna Md Ayyub, member of the Pabna Press Club Executive Committee and editor of Daily Ajker Itihas said, I believe that the people and voters of the constituency have accepted her wholeheartedly.
