16 more people died of dengue fever in the last 24 hours (from Saturday 8 am to Sunday 8 am) across the country. With this, 634 people died due to dengue this year.

Apart from this, 2,608 new dengue patients have been admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. Among the newly identified patients, 892 people were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, and 1716 people were admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka.

This information was informed in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Sunday.

It is said in the circular that at present, a total of 8 thousand 845 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. Among them, 3 thousand 928 people are currently admitted in public and private hospitals of Dhaka and 4 thousand 917 people are admitted in various hospitals of other departments.

This year, 1 lakh 30 thousand 302 patients have been admitted to hospital and received treatment due to dengue throughout the country. Among them, 60 thousand 484 people received treatment in Dhaka and 69 thousand 818 people outside Dhaka.

1 lakh 20 thousand 823 people have recovered from the hospital and returned home. 56 thousand 92 in Dhaka and 64 thousand 731 outside Dhaka have recovered and returned home.
