Police-Magistracy Conference held in Habiganj

Police-Magistracy Conference was held in Habiganj. The conference was held on Monday in the conference room of the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court building.

(a) issued summonses and various processes to witnesses and accused at Police Magistrates’ Conferences; (b) removal of long delays and impediments during search and investigation; (c) Removal of obstacles in obtaining casualty certificates and post-mortem reports was the main theme.

A brief statistical and comparative review of the number and disposal of cases filed in the said Magistrates from January to June 2023 is also of particular importance. Senior Judicial Magistrate Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain presented the main article. Honorable Chief Judicial Magistrate Mr. Mohammad Harun-ur-Rashid presided over the conference which started with recitation from Al-Quran and recitation of Holy Gita under the presentation and conduct of Police Magistrates Conference focal person Judicial Magistrate Mr. Md. Chifat Ullah. The learned Additional District Magistrate Priyanka Pal, Additional Superintendent of Police, Habiganj Md. Shamsul Haque, Superintendent, 250 Bed Modern District Headquarters Hospital Habiganj Dr. Mohammad Aminul Haque Sarkar were present as special guests.

Besides, learned Senior Judicial Magistrates, representative of Civil Surgeon Habiganj, R.M.O. Dr. Momin Uddin Chowdhury, learned Judicial Magistrates, Assistant Director, 55 BGB, Habiganj, Representative of RAB-9 CPC-01 Shayestganj, PBI, CID, DB, Court Police Inspector, Officers-in-charge of all Police Stations Habiganj District Bar President Md. Abul Mansur Chowdhury, Assistant Public Prosecutor Advocate M. Shamim Ahmed along with other persons involved in criminal case filing, investigation and trial work were present.
