17 more men and women were detained by the local people on suspicion of being militants in the Karmadha union of Kulaura upazila.
They were detained by the general public under the supervision of local UP Chairman Mujibul Islam Azad at around 11 o’clock on Monday (August 14).
Karmadha Union Chairman Mujibul Islam Azad confirmed the matter.
In this regard, Kulaura Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdus Salek said that we have received the facts of the incident. When the members of CTTC come, the press conference will be held and the details will be given.
