The monthly general meeting of Engineers Institution Bangladesh (IEB), Chapainawabganj sub-centre was held. The meeting was held on Sunday (August 13) at 5 pm in the conference room of the road building of the district city.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of IEB Secretary & Executive Engineer of Education Engineering Department Rakibul Ahsan was attended by Executive Engineer of Road Division Sanjida Afrin Jhinuk, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department A, M, Iftekhar Majid, General Manager of Chapainawabganj Rural Electricity Association Shanowar Hossain, Executive Engineer of Water Development Board Mokhlesur Rahman and other engineers were present.
In the meeting, on the occasion of the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day on August 15, various programs were taken including a rally and wreath laying at Bangabandhu’s portrait. Apart from this, there was a detailed discussion on the strengthening of organizational activities and the problems related to various professions of engineers.
