Although a case was registered in the case of rape of a girl in Chunarughat of Habiganj, Krishak Dal leader Ziauddin (30) was not arrested even after 20 days. There is a lot of discussion about this. On July 16, a case of rape was registered. But even then Union Krishakdal leader Ziauddin, son of Kimmat Ali of Patli village of Sadar Upazila, was not arrested. In addition, the defendant is threatening to withdraw the case.

It is known that on the morning of July 13, Ziauddin and his men abducted the daughter of Masuk Mia Shorshi of Ikartali village in Chunarughat upazila. At one point, Bahubal took her to the Putijuri area of the upazila and forcibly raped her. People rescued him and admitted him to Sadar Hospital. A case was filed in Bahubal police station. But till date none of the 3 accused have been arrested. However, the police say that the operation to catch the accused is continuing.
