Gaibandha Representative/

Human bandh was held in Gaibandha to demand stop corruption and looting and to reduce the price of gas and electricity and stop loadshedding.

On Tuesday (August 1), the program was organized in front of the city’s Ganasers market organized by the Gaibandha district branch of the Social Struggle Parishad.

The district president of Ganoforum, Bir Muktijoddha Moinul Islam Raja, district president of Workas Party, Pranab Chowdhury Khokon, district member secretary of the Communist Movement, Manjur Alam Mithu, district president of Basder, Golam Rabbani, district president of Farmers-Labor Jantalig Adv. Mustafa Moniruzzaman, District member of Basad Marxist, Member Secretary of Social Struggle Council, Kazi Abu Rahen Shafiullah Khokon, President of Brahmaputra Bridge Implementation Committee Adv. Ashraf Ali, women leader Professor Rokeya Khatun and others.

The speakers called upon the countrymen to build a strong movement-struggle against the irregularities-bribery-corruption in the electricity sector and against consumer harassment including load-shedding, low-voltage.
