Gaibandha Representative/

A man named Ashraful Islam (35) came home from Dhaka to Gobindganj upazila of Gaibandha with fever. After health check-up, dengue infection was found in his body.

Gobindganj Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Zafrin Jahed Jiti gave this information on Tuesday (July 18) evening.

Ashraful is a resident of Dakshin Shibpur village of Shibpur union of Islam upazila. Currently, he is under treatment in the hospital under special conditions.

Relatives of the affected person said that Ashraful felt fever while staying at Jatrabari in Dhaka. When his physical condition deteriorated, he came home from Dhaka. On Monday, he was taken to Upazila Health Complex for health check-up. After the tests there, dengue was diagnosed in the body. He was later admitted to the hospital.

Gobindganj Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Zafrin Jahed Jiti said, there is nothing to panic about this. The affected patient is being treated separately in a special system.
