A student named Miraj Mia (7) drowned in Uchail village of Habiganj Sadar Upazila. This Saturday afternoon, Uchail was playing at his maternal grandfather’s house. Accidentally fell into the pond next to the house. The family members searched and found him floating in the pond and brought him to Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared him dead.

He is the son of Salim Mia of Bahula village and a 2nd class student of the local primary school.
