An allegedly influential Chhatra League leader named Dulal Mia is openly walking around Bahubal in Habiganj district with an arrest warrant on his head, but the police are not arresting him. Meanwhile, the plaintiff in that case is suffering from insecurity due to his threats. Not only this, Dulal has been cheating the passports using his pseudonym Rana Mahaldar.

It is known that Dulal Mia, the son of Khurshed Mia of Jaipur village, is the acting president of the former Upazila Chhatra League, and his brother Helal Mahaldar is the Chhatra Dal leader. Another brother is associated with Jamaat.

It is known that Bachchu Mia’s wife Shahena Akhtar of the same village was beaten and injured by Dulal, her brother Helal and 10-12 people with intent to kill on February 27, 2022. In this incident, the woman became the plaintiff and filed a case in court, and the case was settled. whose number is 34/22. But when the influential Dulal did not appear in court, an arrest warrant was issued against him. Still he goes around openly and threatens the plaintiff and his witness to drop the case.

Bahubal Police Station OC Rakibul Hasan told CNBangladesh that an officer has been appointed to arrest Dulal. Police are looking for him. He will be arrested soon.
