In a separate operation by the Srimangal police station of Moulvibazar, 5 accused were arrested under the warrant.

On Saturday (May 27) night, Srimangal police station SI Md. Rafiqul Islam, SI Teethankar Das, SI Md. Jamal Uddin, ASI Md. Abu Mucha, ASI Raju Kumar Biswas conducted separate raids and arrested 5 accused under warrants in various cases.

The arrested accused are Suhail Sheikh alias Kalu Sheikh, son of Noor Sheikh of Station Road Srimangal Labor Colony, Bashitur Rahman son of Majnu Mia of Bailachra village in Mirzapur Union and Harendra Das son of Fuskuri tea garden and Dulal Das of Harendra Das of Fuskuri tea garden. Kamal Das, Dhirendra Das, son of Gani Das, a resident of Fuskuri Bagan.

Jahangir Hossain Sardar, officer-in-charge of Srimangal Police Station, said that 5 absconding accused under the warrant were arrested and sent to jail through Moulvibazar learned court in the morning.
