A two-day long spring fair was held in Kamalganj of Moulvibazar with the aim of nurturing Bengali culture and heritage. Last Friday and Saturday (March 17 and 18), the fair was held at Shahid Nagar Bazar organized by the Shahid Nagar Bazar Traders Association of the Union. A discussion meeting and cultural program was held at Maizgaon Government Primary School ground on the occasion of the fair at 8 pm on Saturday.

President of Shaheed Nagar Bazar Traders Association Abul Bashar Zillul attended the event as the chief guest, Mayor of Kamalganj Municipality. Jewel Ahmed. Shakib Hossain Joy moderated the event as special guests, female vice chairman of Kamalganj Upazila Parishad Bilkis Begum, ex-chairman of Patnaushar UP engineer Tawfiq Ahmad Babu, founder general secretary and former president of Shaheed Nagar Bazar Traders Association Abdul Hannan Chinu, brave freedom fighter Nazrul Islam, former UP member Narayan Mallik Sagar, former president of Nayabazar Traders Association Shamsur Rahman, General Secretary of Shahid Nagar Bazar Traders Association Tipu Sultan Chowdhury etc.
