District police pays tribute to Bangabandhu’s portrait

On the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Moulvibazar, the district police paid tribute to the portrait of the father of the nation.
On Friday (March 17th) Bangabandhu’s birthday and National Children’s Day, on the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest Bengali of all time, the great architect of freedom, the great hero of the nation, Moulvibazar District Police paid tribute by placing wreaths at Bangabandhu’s mural on behalf of the district police.
At 9:30 in the morning, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria, the policemen placed wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman installed in the premises of Central Shaheed Minar in Moulvibazar Government High School grounds. Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Sudarshan Kumar Roy, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Mohsin and other senior officers of the district police were present. Later on the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth anniversary and National Children’s Day 2023, a discussion meeting, award distribution and cultural programs were held.
