The best officer-in-charge has been selected on the basis of the monthly crime meeting and criteria of the district police in Moulvibazar.
The monthly crime meeting of district police was held in the conference room of Moulvibazar district police super office on Tuesday (March 7) at noon. In the meeting, the best police stations and officers of the district were recognized based on their significant work in the month of February.
District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria chaired and conducted by Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabder, discussed important issues including the overall law and order situation of the district, strengthening of beat policing activities, arrest warrants in Tamil, progress of sensitive cases and intelligence activities of the district. is done Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria discussed various important issues with the in-charges of various units of the district police and gave necessary directions.
At the end of the meeting, Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station was selected as the best police station of the district in February 2023 in the light of uniform standards. District Best SI Sujan Talukder of Kulaura Police Station (retd) and Abdul Hannan of Kulaura Police Station were selected as the best ASI. Besides, ASI Abu Taher of Kulaura police station was selected as the best warrant officer. Sadar Court Police Inspector Yunus Miah was selected as the best court police inspector. Besides, Md. Nabi Hossain was selected as the best CSI and ASI Md. Nazmul Huda was selected as the best GRO.
District Intelligence Branch SI Iftekhar Islam received special award for recovering 770 pieces of yaba and 500 grams of ganja along with 5 accused. SI Sirajul Islam of Juri police station was awarded for unraveling the main mystery of a clueless murder and arresting the accused involved. SI Kamal Uddin of Rajnagar police station was awarded for recovering 4 stolen cows and arresting 5 members of the cow theft gang. Baralekha Zone Sergeant Mostafizur Rahman was selected as the best sergeant in recognition of his work in the traffic department. Superintendent of Police handed over crest and certificate of appreciation to Officer-in-charge of police station and selected officers in various categories.
