A large amount of drugs and contraband recovered in Brahmanbaria

Members of 25th Battalion (Sarail Battalion) of BGB recovered 54 kg of ganja, 284 bottles of Iskoff, 394 pieces of Indian Yaba tablets, 1 bottle of Indian liquor, 46 cubic feet of teak wood in the area bordering Brahmanbaria Vijaynagar and Madhavpur Upazila of Habiganj.
On Thursday morning, a large amount of drugs and smuggled goods were recovered in separate raids in Anwarpur, Chanpur, Hirapur, Kalyanpur, Noabadi, Nalgaria, Madhavpur upazila’s Mialuri area on the border of Brahmanbaria Vijaynagar upazila.
This information was informed through a press release sent by 25 battalion of BGB on Thursday afternoon.
According to the press release, the recovered drugs and smuggled goods are being deposited and destroyed at Brahmanbaria and Habiganj Narcotics Control Office. In this regard, Sarail Battalion (25 BGB) Commander, Lt. Col. Syed Arman Arif, (PSC) said that they will be vigilant in continuous patrolling activities in the border area under the responsibility of the battalion. He said that this campaign will continue.
