Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s courage, uncompromisingness, patriotism and love for people can be fully respected only if we can hold and implement these qualities. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is implementing Megha projects one after another for the development of Bangladesh. Seeing the development of a Gosti government, they are engaged in mischievous attempts to create anarchy in the country. Therefore, Minister Imran Ahmad called upon the Trinamool leaders and workers to organize the Awami League on the ideology of Bangabandhu to strengthen the hand of Sheikh Hasina.

Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Minister Imran Ahmad MP said these things as the chief guest at the extended meeting of Union Awami’ League at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium on the initiative of his constituency Nijpat Union Awami League at 3 pm on Friday (December 2).

Nijpat Union Awami League president Ataur Rahman Babul presided over and General Secretary Master Abdul Jalil conducted the extended meeting, Jaintapur Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Parishad Chairman Kamal Ahmad, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Liaquat Ali spoke as special guests.
Besides, Jaintapur Upazila Awami League Vice President Ekhlachur Rahman, Alauddin Ali Deputy General Secretary Muhibur Rahman Mem, Shahed Ahmed, Organizing Secretary Hanif Mohammad, Nipendra Kumar, Office Secretary Hasinul Haque Husnu, Publicity Secretary Sirajul Islam, Awami League were also present in the extended meeting. League leaders Abdur Rahman, Yahia, Jalal Uddin, Upazila Jubo League convener Anwar Hossain, Joint convener Shahinur Rahman, Sramik League president Farooq Ahmad, General Secretary Shawkat Ali, Krishak League convener Abdul Mannan, Joint convener Kaishar Ahmad, Sechchasevak League president Manjur Elahi Samrat, general Secretary Imam Uddin, former general secretary of Chhatra League Anwar Hossain, former student leader Amin Ahmed, Rubel Sharif, besides the president and general secretary of 9 wards attended the extended meeting of Union Awami League.

Earlier, the minister distributed sports materials to various sports organizations and educational institutions of the upazila at the upazila parishad premises and exchanged greetings with the under-17 girls’ football team.
