In Habiganj Sadar Hospital, the nuisance of brokers has increased again. As soon as they come from Gramganj, the patients fall into the clutches of brokers and become destitute. Allegedly, some dishonest employees of the hospital have been cooperating with them. Because of them, the police are not able to suppress the brokers despite conducting repeated raids.
On Sunday afternoon, two brokers named Shakil Mia and Nirab Biswas had an argument about the patient’s medical certificate at the main gate of Sadar Hospital. At one point, one attacked the other. Seeing that the situation is dire, the patient is trapped to escape from the hands of the broker. On receiving the information, a police team led by ASI Shibalu Majumdar of Sadar police station came to the spot and arrested the two brokers and took them to the police station. In this incident, the police became the plaintiff and sent Shakeel and Nirav Biswas to jail through the court.

Detained Nirav is a resident of Anantapur and Shakeel is a resident of Bahula village.

OC Golam Mortuza said that a circle has been doing brokering for a long time. The hospital authorities complained to them. Brokers have been arrested before. The campaign will continue.
