Sundarganj/Gaibandha/Representative/

A young man named Sohel Rana Shahin (30) died while connecting the irrigation pump in Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha. The incident took place on Saturday (November 5) night in East Chaparhati (Mandalpara) village of Chaparhati Union of the upazila. Sohail Rana is the son of Yunus Ali of that village.

Relatives said that at that time he went to connect the electric irrigation pump. In the meantime, he was electrocuted and taken to Gaibandha Sadar Hospital. Later the doctor on duty declared Sohel Rana dead. Chaparhati Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Kanak Kumar Gosami of Sundarganj said that he heard the incident from people.
