Fraud in the name of sending to France, case against human trafficking ring

The members of the human trafficking group stole a large amount of money by saying that they were sending it to France in Anwarpur village of Khagawra union of Baniachong upazila of Habiganj. Monir Hossain Dulal, son of Tota Mia, the victim of that village, became frustrated and did not get justice anywhere.
Mahim Khan (45), son of deceased Saddi Khan, son of deceased Michari Khan, Sharif Khan (42), son of deceased Hushmat Khan, Rauf Khan (55) and son of Mahim Khan, Robin Khan (20) of Rajpara village of Ward No. 9 of that union were accused in the case.
According to the details of the case, the accused, who were said to be members of the human trafficking gang, snatched Tk 12 lakh by taking Monir Hossain to France. Monir sold his cow, calf, land and paid a lot of money. But the fraudsters sent him to Dubai with fake visa, training card certificate and various fake documents. After going to Dubai, Monir Hossain realized that the gang cheated him and embezzled money by sending him to Dubai instead of sending him to France or Romania. At one point, finding no way out, Monir returned to the country and tried in different places. But without getting any justice, he filed a case in the court.
The case was filed in Habiganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Amal-4 court on Sunday. The judge took cognizance of the case and ordered the officer-in-charge of Baniachong Police Station to submit an investigation report.
