Moulvibazar Directorate of Consumer Rights fined two diagnostic centers in various raids in Moulvibazar.

Md Al-Amin, Assistant Director of the District Office of the Directorate of Consumer Rights, conducted raids on Shah Mostafa Road, Srimangal Road, Berirpar Point of Sadar Upazila in the morning on Sunday (September 4).

M/s Sifat Medical located on Shah Mostafa Road due to various irregularities including finding expired medicines in the pharmacy in collaboration with a team of RAB-9, non-existence of price list of services in the diagnostic center, lack of license from proper authority, mismatch of voucher copy with service price list The store was fined 10,000 taka, the Royal Multicare Diagnostic and Consultation Center located on Srimangal Road was fined 20,000 taka.

Assistant Director Md. Al-Amin said that all diagnostic centers are instructed to renew licenses and improve service quality in accordance with government guidelines. The campaign will continue to ensure access to services at a fair price and conduct health services in accordance with the law.
