Srimangal Raktdan Samaj Kalyan Sanstha is conducting free blood group testing of primary school students of Cha Bagan in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.

For the past two years, they have been consistently going to various educational institutions and backward communities to determine the blood group. In continuation of this program, on Monday, Chatali Cha Bagan of Kalapur Union of Srimangal Upazila conducted free blood group determination of all the students of Government Primary School.

In this regard, Chatali tea garden government primary school assistant teacher Urmi Barei said that all the students of their school are tea garden workers. A blood count is required for school work. Despite repeated requests to the parents, they could not do so. Finally, this organization provides free blood group testing of all students in their school.

Srimangal Blood Donation Society President Azharul Islam Anik, General Secretary Mujahidul Islam, Joint General Secretary Apu Chandra Sheel, Organizing Secretary Akash Malakar, Associate Organizing Secretary Liton Vaidya, Publicity Secretary Yashin Ahmad Sharif and many others participated in this day-long program. On behalf of the school, the president of the school’s managing committee Shamim Ahmed, head teacher Vijay Nunia, assistant teacher, Chaitali Chakraborty, Urmi Barai, Nasreen Akhter and Bagan Panchayat president Lakshan Bauri were present on behalf of the school.
