Affiliated Committee of Heart Foundation Srimangal has started working to set up a hanspal of Heart Foundation in Moulvibazar. A free heart camp is organized every month before starting the hospital setting up programme.

Dr. Haripad Roy, General Secretary of Srimangal Heart Foundation gave this information in a press briefing at the conference hall of Srimangal Upazila Health Complex on Sunday afternoon.

Under the chairmanship of Srimangal Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Sajjad Hossain Chowdhury, Vice President of Srimangale Heart Foundation, Organizational Secretary Debbrata Datta Habul, Information and Publication Editor Bikul Chakraborty, Member Dr. Mamun, Member Assistant Professor Rajat Shubhra Chakraborty, Member Journalist Imam Hossain Suhail and Associate Treasurer Shubra Das.

Journalists from various print and electronic media of Srimangal Moulviyajar district were present during this press briefing. At this time, Dr. Haripad Roy said, 3 specialist doctors will provide treatment for 120 patients with heart disease at Srimangal Municipality’s Mohsin Auditorium from 10 am to afternoon.
He said, among the expert doctors, Dhaka Specialized Hospital’s cardiologist Dr. Fauzia Khan, cardiologist and surgeon Dr. Mohammad Ali Bhuijai and cardiologist Dr. Sultan Ahmad will be present.

Vice President of Srimangale Heart Foundation Srimangal Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Sajjad Hossain Chowdhury said that registration is being done with a fee of 100 taka in advance. Already they have registered around 60 patients. He said that the first heart camp is being conducted on the occasion of the month of mourning.
