Three Fire-Affected Families in Koyra Receive Corrugated Sheets, Cash Aid

Three families affected by a fire in North Bedkashi Union of Koyra upazila in Khulna have received corrugated iron sheets and cash assistance from the local administration.
The assistance was distributed on Wednesday (September 23) under an initiative of the upazila administration and the Upazila Disaster Management Department. Each family received two bundles of corrugated sheets and Tk 6,000 in cash, totalling six bundles and Tk 18,000 for the three families.
Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md Abdullah Al Baki, Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Abdullah Al Jabir and local dignitaries were present during the distribution.
UNO Md Abdullah Al Baki said the government stands by families affected by fires and other disasters. Necessary measures would be taken to provide government assistance and support the rehabilitation of the affected families. The families expressed gratitude to the government for the assistance.
