Aminul Islam Sourav, a fourth-grade student of Sreemangal, surprised everyone by winning first place in the balance and running competition in the National Primary Education Medal Competition.

Sourav is a fourth-grade student of Saitula Government Primary School in Sindurkhan Union, Sreemangal Upazila. On Wednesday (June 10), the Sylhet Divisional Education Office organized the Primary Education School Divisional Competition 2026 at the divisional level.

Md. Aminul Islam Sourav won first place in the balance running competition at the divisional level, leaving all the competitors behind. It is worth noting that this competition was organized for the first time at the union level.

He maintained this success by achieving 1st place with success at the upazila, district and divisional levels from the union. Earlier, competitors from 83 unions of Moulvibazar district participated in this game, but Sourav won 1st place at the divisional level, defeating everyone.

He will participate in the national level competition to be held in Dhaka on June 15, said his mentor and teacher Pabel Mahmud. He also said – The boy is very good at studies and is talented. He is also very good at sports. I wish him continued success. Sourav’s school teachers, classmates, villagers and his family are all happy with this success.
