Snatcher Apprehended Through Ansar Intervention in Narayanganj

Members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party have apprehended a snatcher in Narayanganj. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon while the personnel were performing traffic duties within the Narayanganj City Corporation area. Around 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, an agitated crowd of locals was chasing a snatcher.
The young man attempted to flee by running past the designated traffic duty post manned by Ansar members. At that moment, the on-duty Ansar members courageously apprehended him. The detained snatcher has been identified as Shakil Mia (19). PC Md. Millad Biswas and Ansar members Md. Imran Nazir and Md. Shafiqul Islam played a courageous role in apprehending the snatcher. Subsequently, the detained youth was handed over to the police.
Such proactive efforts by the Ansar force in maintaining law and order alongside the general public have brought a sense of relief to the locals. This serves as yet another shining example of the professionalism displayed by the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party in ensuring security for roads and highways, as well as for vital government and private installations across the country.
