A six-monthly coordination meeting at the upazila level was held in Koyra,under the DIDRM Call Programme.
it was held on Thursday (September 17) at the Koyra Upazila Parishad Hall room. Representatives of various government departments, relevant stakeholders and members of Union Disaster Management Committees attended the meeting.
Discussions focused on coordinating disaster management activities, strengthening cooperation among relevant government departments and committees, and ensuring effective roles in disaster preparedness and response.
The programme is being implemented by Caritas Bangladesh, Khulna Region, and Access Bangladesh Foundation, supported by Switzerland and in partnership with CBM Global Disability Inclusion and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

Among those present were Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer Samir Kumar Sarkar, Upazila Social Services Officer Abul Kalam Azad, Upazila Public Health Engineer Istiaq Ahmed, Fire Service and Civil Defence Officer Abdul Ahad, Assistant Plant Protection Officer Sukdev Kumar Sadhu, Assistant Upazila Youth Development Officer S M Akram Hossain, Project Implementation Officer Md Abdullah Al Jabir, and Upazila Coordinator of Caritas Bangladesh Hasibul Islam.
